With ongoing discussions on prospective online access, I have put together some EMIS Web searches that may be helpful for practices to consider.
The set of searches are here:
https://drbhatti.com/download/prospective-online-access-searches/
Within these you will find the following searches that may help you define your population that you may wish to exclude from prospective online access.
ALL PATIENTS ON LIST
This search will allow you to identify all your patients to apply the 104 code:
SNOMED code 1364731000000104
“Enhanced review indicated before granting access to own health record
HAVE A 104 CODE AND CURRENT ONLINE ACCESS
Some practices may want to review the 104 code and switch those that have online access to the 106 code:
SNOMED code 1364751000000106
“Enhanced review not indicated before granting access to own health record”
PATIENTS WHO MAY LACK CAPACITY
These were the searches defined in option 2 here GP Practice Options for Prospective Online Access – Dr Bhatti.com
Credit and thanks to Named GPs for Safeguarding BSW ICB (michelle.sharma@nhs.net) for creating these amazing searches!
These patients could be selectively chosen to apply the 104 code to.
NO ONLINE ACCESS AND NOT CODED FOR PROSPECTIVE ACCESS
These patients have no online access and have not had a prospective code for online access to records. So this is another select group that you may want to apply the 104 code to.
